Get Smoother Skin

You’ll Need:

  • Facial scrub
  • Face lotion/cream of your choice
  • Lemon
  • Cotton ball
Smooth skin begins with gentle exfoliation. I prefer to use an oatmeal scrub since they tend to be less drying. Gently rub your face with a dollop of the scrub and then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

After you dry off your face, smooth on a face lotion of your choice, preferably one that contains dimethicone, an ingredient that helps your skin retain moisture.

Next, juice a lemon into a small bowl and dab any sunspots or brown patches on your face with a cotton ball dipped in lemon juice. Lemon juice acts like a natural skin bleacher, and when used frequently, will help smooth out any minor discolorations on your face.

Look Younger

Step 1:
Makesure your hair is always looking healthy and keep it with a flattering haircut. Side swept bangs and a shoulder length cut tends to be flattering to everyone. Make sure your haircolor flatters you and that it is not flat or boring.

Step 2:
Beware of how you put your makeup on. It could either enhance you or age you. Usually brown lipstick tends to age a woman very much. Be careful of how you use foundation and powder. It can actually make your wrinkles more visible.

Step 3:
Define your eyes. Make sure to always have some mascara on, since it makes your eyes look even more beautiful.

Step 4:
Do not overpluck your eyebrows. Eyebrows that look extremely done are not natural and will age you. Also, the eyebrow hairs that you pluck away might never grow back after you have reached a certain age.

Step 5:
Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day to keep your skin hydrated. Young skin is a lot better hydrated than older skin.

Step 6:
Use face creams that are age appropriate. They do not need to be very expensive in order to work. But starting a regimen as early as possible is highly reccommended.

Step 7:
Always moisturize your whole body.Never forget your elbows, knees and hands. They can also age you.

Rejuvenate Your Skin

Step 1:
The first step to better skin on your face is to use a face wash as opposed to bar soap. Bar soap will dry out the more delicate skin on your face. If you use bar soap on your body, you should be sure that the bar soap conatins moisturizer and not too many perfumes.

Step 2:
Using face wash mixed with sugar can actually make your skin more exfoliated and smoother. Sugar also works all over the body too.

Step 3:
If you also have dark circles around the eyes you may want to consider using a face mask that has coffee beans or caffiene in it. The caffiene will awaken and open up the blood vessels around the eyes to make the blood flow. This will help make some of the darkness go away.

Step 4:
Using milk and a little bit of honey, along with facial wash, can help cleanse your face while added moisture. This also works in the bath for all over the body.

Treat Skin Conditions With Tea Tree Oil

Step 1:
Treat small cuts and scrapes by cleaning the affected area thoroughly and applying a liberal amount of tea tree oil with a cotton ball or swab. Cover with an adhesive bandage if necessary. The oil contains natural antiseptics which will help the area heal.

Step 2:
Wash your face and apply tea tree oil directly to pimples and blemishes twice daily to help them clear. Its natural antibiotic properties make it useful in the treatment of mild acne.

Step 3:
Treat blisters with tea tree oil by cleaning the affected area and directly applying the oil. This will help to prevent the blister from becoming infected.

Step 4:
Soften calluses by mixing a few drops of tea tree oil with almond, olive, or grapeseed oil (approx. 1 ounce). Massage this oil mixture into the affected area twice daily. When the callused skin is removed, clean the area and apply a couple of drops of tea tree oil. Cover with an adhesive bandage.

Step 5:
Use a shampoo with at least a five percent infusion of tea tree oil to treat dandruff. You can also add a few drops of tea tree oil to your everyday shampoo for this effect.

Step 6:
Disinfect chigger bites by dipping a cotton swab into tea tree oil and applying directly to bites.

Step 7:
Apply tea tree oil with a cotton swab, when you feel the onset of a cold sore. This can help to ease pain and reduce healing time.
